GRANTS PROGRAM

The It’s Okay to Talk About It Grant Program 2012

As part of the Mental Health Foundation’s recent August Evening in Saratoga, the 2012 It Okay to Talk About It grant recipients were announced.  The program recognizes and supports projects that promote a peer-to-peer exchange and encourage dialogue among young people about mental health. Six programs, including two new recipients,  will share $30,000 in funding to support their outstanding and proven outreach activities

They are Equinox of Albany, The Mental Health Association of Nassau County, East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania Good Shepherd of Brooklyn, The University of Maryland, Baltimore County and the Seven Valleys Health Coalition of Cortland County, NY.  The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey will continue to partner with the Foundation under its 2011 grant.
